A project like this is not possible without so many great partners, especially as it was the first event of its kind. Nevertheless, everyone worked together and all the gears meshed.

With EVENTQUADRAT, two renowned industry players launched a new, bold format for the MICE industry - with the aim of being more than just a network meeting. The vision: events as a catalyst for positive change.
The aim was not only to connect participants from three groups (corporates, associations, agencies), but to get them actively involved. Interactive sessions, training at eye level and digital touchpoints were to redefine the classic event experience.

Challenges and goals

One particular challenge was the digital implementation: the target group had a mixed digital affinity, and there were also initial doubts on the organizer side about the app's real added value. There were therefore three key challenges:

Connection across industry boundaries

The aim was not only to bring together participants from corporates, associations and agencies, but also to enable real interaction - beyond traditional networks.

Change through interactive participation

The event was intended to set new standards: With interactive sessions, open formats and further training at eye level, the aim was for guests to make an active contribution - not just listen passively.

Digital acceptance through communication

The use of smart tools was initially met with scepticism - both from event organizers and from a digitally mixed audience. It was therefore crucial to convince them with transparent communication, intuitive app guidance and real added value.

Innovative features in use

To achieve these goals, EVENTQUADRAT relied on the versatile functions of the UpVisit event app:

Guided Tours

Two speakers provided content on "Face Reading" and "LinkedIn Video Storytelling" as a digital tour - prepared in story format and promoted with a push.

Push notifications

Used specifically for shuttle information, voting reminders and wifi access - exactly when it was relevant.

Structure and orientation at a glance - for sessions, speakers and topics.

Voting and surveys

During the sessions, participants were able to vote live and give feedback - visibly and effectively integrated by the director.
